Prostate Cancer Treatment

You may need to see another urologist, oncologist or radiation oncologist. Consider your doctor's expertise before you start. With experienced surgeons, the risk of serious side effects (such as loss of self-control) is low. Also, it helps to talk to other survivors and learn from their experiences.
Plus, try and get or stay healthy. Eating a healthy diet, maintaining a healthy weight, exercising and not smoking are all important factors in the fight against prostate cancer.
In addition, do not ignore your feelings. Think about how you deal with this diagnosis. Many men with prostate cancer feel anxious, depressed, and angry. You and your caregivers may need to consider professional advice.
