Penile Cancer

Category Penile Cancer

Penile cancer can arise anywhere on the penis, the skin, shaft or the glans. It often starts in skin cells and can work its way inside. But it can be treated, especially if it’s found early on. Any thickening or ulcer on the foreskin of uncircumcised men, on the penis tip (the glans), or on the shaft especially if without pain must be evaluated and cancer ruled out. When picked up early the treatement of penile cancer gives very good success, whereas in later stages may need a combination of Surgery with chemotherapy and radiation.
